Damaged Chopper Box

As summer ends in the Midwest, crops have matured and farmers are starting the harvesting process.  This involves equipment preparation, combining, storing and delivering crops, as well as preparing for the next year’s spring planting.  When key equipment gets damaged, farmers not only incur the cost to repair the equipment, but also the cost for the interruption in business, loss of production, etc.

One of MWA Appraisal Group’s specialties includes handling damage appraisals on agricultural equipment.   MWA understands the importance of keeping the claims moving for the insurance companies and the owners, by providing an accurate appraisal with as a quick of a turnaround possible.  This picture shown above is of a damaged chopper box.  Often times on these types of claims, the equipment gets damaged in the middle of a field, in areas that are not easily assessible.  Our appraisers can find themselves knee-deep in manure, and other times they might find some very curious animals that want to stay close by. Whatever challenge arises, our appraisers are prepared to handle claims efficiently and professionally, while providing accurate and timely appraisal to our customers.
